S-REC
SPECIALIST RESPONSE EMERGENCY CARE

The Specialist Response Course is designed for operators and teams who work, respond, and deploy in high-risk or specialist environments, such as industrial sites and other forms of private or contracted coverage.

This flexible training program can be tailored to suit your operational requirements, including the number of training days and the desired qualifications.

Developed by experienced professionals with decades of field deployment, this course is built on practical knowledge and real-world expertise. Whether you're operating in hazardous environments or supporting private or industrial rescue efforts, the course is structured to meet your needs.

Course Objectives

Training objectives are designed around both individual participants and specialist teams, focusing on key areas such as:

  • Navigating hazardous materials and high-risk environments

  • Interoperability within multinational and multidisciplinary teams

  • Command and control operations

  • K9 team integration and animal care

  • Paediatric and displaced-person care

This course is especially relevant for those working in environments where emergency services may be delayed or unavailable, requiring enhanced self-sufficiency and resilience.

  • Natural disasters and infrastructure failures

  • Radiological and fire-related incidents

  • Pandemics and biohazards

  • Active shooter and mass casualty events

AHDR training helps participants assess regional threats, evaluate resources, and develop a strategic response plan to save lives.

  • Resource management: supplies, medications, and equipment

  • Triage systems and patient transportation logistics

  • Evacuation strategies and patient tracking

The course begins with a Hazard Vulnerability Analysis, during which participants evaluate the environmental, industrial, and human-made risks relevant to their operating area. This includes assessing the specific needs of vulnerable populations such as hospital patients or assisted-living residents.

All content is delivered through realistic, scenario-based training, culminating in hands-on practical exercises to solidify learning outcomes.
